Good Tang

Good Tang, born Joeffrey Louis on November 3, 1987, in Chicago, is a Haitian-American musician, keyboardist, bassist, singer and composer. Raised in a deeply musical family, with an uncle on bass, another on piano, and a direct family link to Haitian legend Ansy Dérose, he grew up between Haitian culture and American urban sounds. He learned piano and bass at a young age and developed a hybrid style blending konpa, gospel, R&B, trap and afro-fusion.\n\nIn 2008, he joined the group X-Tassy, where he served as keyboardist, bassist, arranger and occasional vocalist. There he recorded his first song after composing a melody that T-Claude encouraged him to sing himself. Later, he became a member of Enposib, acting as lead keyboardist, composer and one of the key architects of the band’s modern digital konpa and gouyad sound, working closely with Medjy Toussaint.\n\nAfter Enposib disbanded in 2023, Good Tang launched his solo career. In March 2025, he released his debut album Ma Muse, a ten-track project that fuses digital konpa, afro-fusion, Kreyòl trap and contemporary R&B, featuring Kenny Haïti, 5Lan and DJ Incredible. The album has accumulated hundreds of thousands of streams across digital platforms. Through his expressive keyboard work, rich harmonies and modern digital sound palette, Good Tang stands out as one of the most creative keyboardists of his generation and a key figure in the evolution of the Haitian sound
